About us
Attorney Andrzej Malicki is an attorney with many years of experience. He continues his family’s professional traditions, practicing as a lawyer for nearly forty years. He specializes in civil and family law, as well as helps clients in business, criminal and administrative matters.
Scientific activity
Gaining his professional experience Advocate Malicki began as a research worker at the University of Wrocław in the years 1973-1982. Despite the further development of professional activity, Advocate Malicki did not give up his passion for teaching. Currently, he lectures at the Postgraduate Studies in Medical Law and Bioethics at the Faculty of Law of Administration and Economics at the University of Wrocław. He also conducted didactic classes on the subject of civil law liability of doctors at the Piastów Śląskich Medical University in Wrocław and teaches them in the Lower Silesian Medical Chamber. He also teaches sports law at the University of Lower Silesia in Wrocław and finishes writing a doctoral dissertation on the independence of the judge and independence of the lawyer in the trial.
Professional activity
In 1992, on the initiative of Advocate Andrzej Malicki, the first Lawyer’s company was established in Wrocław. The original name – the CONSENSUS – company of Advocates Malicki, Rossa i Wspólnicy sp.j. – has been changed and now the company operates as the Company of Advocates Malicki i Wspólnicy sp.j.
The originator of the founding of the Company, Attorney Andrzej Malicki, met the expectations of clients, changing in connection with political and economic changes in Poland. Together with Lawyer Henryk Rossa, Attorney Andrzej Malicki as part of the activities of the established company, he started legal services for business entities.
Functions and positions
Attorney Andrzej Malicki enjoys the trust of both clients and other lawyers and academic workers. During his many years of professional practice he performed a number of functions requiring special public confidence;
In the years 2001-2004 he held the office of the Deputy Dean of the District Bar Council.
In the years 1988-2001 he was a member of the Supreme Bar Council Commission: Education of Trainee Attorneys and Public Activities of the Bar.
In the years 1988-2001 he held the position of Head of Training for the Training of Trainee Attorneys and Vocational Training of the District Bar Council in Wrocław.
In the years 2004-2007 he was the Chairman of the Professional Advocacy Commission of Attorneys at the Supreme Bar Council.
In 2010, he participated in the work on the draft Act on the Law of the Bar.
For many years he participated in the works of the Scientific Council of the Bar Research Center and the District Bar Council in Wrocław.
In the years 2007-2013 – for two terms – he was the Dean of the District Bar Council in Wrocław.
Currently, Advocate Malicki is also involved in many important social positions, including in the Supreme Bar Council and the Provincial Commission for Adjudication of Medical Events.
He is a member of the Supreme Bar Council, to which he was re-elected, during the National Congress of the Bar in Krakow in 2016.
Holds the post of Deputy Chairman in the Ethics Committee of the Supreme Bar Council, whose work is directed by adv. prof. dr hab. Jacek Giezek.
He is a lecturer at the Training of Trainee Attorneys and a long-time examiner, currently at the Wałbrzych Chamber.
He declares at the Provincial Commission for Adjudication of Medical Events. This is the second season of Attorney Andrzej Malicki.
Scientific conferences
During his professional activity, Attorney Andrzej Malicki has repeatedly taken active and passive participation in prestigious scientific conferences. In 2015, he was a speaker during a nationwide scientific conference entitled “Doctor’s Rights”. The conference was held on September 18 in Wrocław, and its subject matter was centered around the conscience clause. Attorney Andrzej Malicki during the conference held a debate, among others with prof. Michał Królikowski, analyzing the case of prof. Bogdan Chazan in the context of the doctor’s freedom of conscience.
Attorney Andrzej Malicki was also a panelist of the conference “Freedom of communication” organized under the honorary patronage of the Wrocław Metropolitan Archbishop Józef Kupna. The conference was held on October 23, 2015 at the Pontifical Faculty of Theology. He was also the moderator of the conference “New challenges in family matters and the principle of the good of the child. Ethical perspectives of professions involved in court proceedings.” The conference took place on November 6-7, 2015 in Wrocław.
Scientific publications
Attorney Andrzej Malicki is the author of many scientific publications. Due to his interests, focusing on medical law, he willingly undertakes to describe issues bordering of law and medicine. He is also the author of articles that appeared, among others in “Medium – Gazeta Dolnośląska Izby Lekarskiej”.
In addition to publications in the field of medical law, he eagerly writes articles in the field of civil, administrative, economic, family and sports law, as well as the principles of practicing the profession of advocate.
Non-professional activity
Attorney Andrzej Malicki takes part in many social actions and in events not directly related to the lawyer’s professional work. Pro bono activities are often undertaken. In the artistic environment, he enjoys the opinion of a patron of art. He organizes Christmas concerts in Wroclaw in the Church of the Holy Saint Michael the Archangel. The setting of this event over the years was ensured by, among others the “Skaldowie” band.
Attorney Malicki is also a member of Business Icons – a social program of the Wrocław Chamber of Commerce. On June 16, 2018, on the boulevard of Tadek Jasiński, at the intersection of the Staromiejska promenade with Krupnicza Street, a monument of Ignacy Jan Paderewski made by the sculptor Tomasz Wenklar was unveiled. Attorney Andrzej Malicki is one of the founders of the monument. The bust of Paderewski commemorates the anniversary of the liberation of Poland after 123 years of captivity.
In addition, Attorney Andrzej Malicki has been cooperating with the Catholic Radio Family for many years. In 2015, in gratitude for his many years of successful cooperation, he was awarded the “Wroclaw Laurel of Radio Family”.
Attorney Andrzej Malicki is also a co-author of the screenplay of Wiesław Saniewski’s film “Bezmiar sprawiedliwość”. He took part in an episode of the “Defenders” series, which is a reportage documentary. The series was broadcast by regional TVP branches in the education band.
The passion for sport accompanies Lawyer Andrzej Malicki, all his life. He is an instructor and passionate about sailing and a yacht steersman. He also performs the function of the Honorary President of the SPARTA Motor Sport Fan Society. In addition, he is a speaker of speedway competitions.
Privately, Andrzej Malicki, a lawyer, is the husband of lawyer Aleksandra Malicka and two daughters – attorney dr Anna Malicka – Ochtery and medicine. med. Agnieszka Malicka.
